Legend Regency Sale Attracts Premium Bids for CAC Rarities
November 19, 2018
The most recent Legend Rare Coin Auctions sale, Regency Auction 29, was held in conjunction with the PCGS Members Only Show in San Antonio, Texas, and the majority of highest grade coins, especially coins with the CAC sticker, brought some premium bid prices. Many of these rarities brought well above pre-sale estimates. One of the highlights of this sale was the 1921 Chapman Morgan Dollar in PCGS PR67. The Chapman Proof is always aggressively sought at major auctions with an original mintage estimate of just 40 coins, but this one is the finest known in PCGS and it realized $229,125.
